Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2023
The Laguna Phuket Triathlon, Southeast Asia’s longest-running triathlon, concluded on November 19, 2023, in our integrated resort destination, Laguna Phuket. With over 1,000 triathletes representing 30 countries, the event was a great success, fostering a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, and showcasing Phuket as a world-class sports event destination.
What Makes the LPT Unique
The triathlon consisted of a 1.8-kilometer swim in the Andaman Sea and lagoon, a 55-kilometer bike ride through the scenic Phuket countryside, and a 12-kilometer run along Laguna Phuket’s beach roads.
The event was open to athletes of all ages and abilities, with categories for Laguna Phuket Triathlon (Elite) compete with the pros and win cash prizes, Laguna Phuket Triathlon (Individual), Relay Team, Sprint Triathlon, and Duathlon.

This year’s triathlon saw a strong field of competitors, with many triathletes from around the world taking part. Some of the results include:

The event village at Laguna Phuket was buzzing with activity throughout the weekend, with food stalls, , night market, live music, and plenty of opportunities for triathletes to relax and socialize.
