The WPG#1 Waterjet Offshore New Championships is the first Phuket Island Coastline Water Jet Ski Tournament to showcase Phuket as a world-class sports destination.
The offshore competition is presented to compete 2 kilometers from the beach, showcasing to international audiences the beauty of the Andaman Sea along Phuket Island. The concept of “WGP#1 Waterjet Offshore World Championship” is to determine the winner of the race of 120 kms or 74.56 miles which is the distance of one lap around Phuket Island So, from the distance number of 120kms. The race is going to “start from Laguna Beach to Laem Phromthep", which is 1 lap of the race with a distance of 60 km. We require 2 laps of 120 km to complete the race.
In addition, in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we will be introducing an eco-friendly electric jetski at the event. We anticipate great things for this product in the maritime industry.
