Ms. Claire Chiang

is the Co-founder and Senior Vice President of Banyan Tree Group, the Global Head of Learning and Talent Development as well as the Chairperson of China Business Development and Banyan Tree Management Academy. With a Master’s degree in Philosophy, she has taught for over 16 years at the tertiary level in the University of Singapore and University of Hong Kong. She is also the founder of the original Laguna Phuket Kindergarten 30 years ago. Her vision for SILK today is inspired by the need for cross-cultural exchange and a holistic, immersive education that cultivates a responsible global citizenry.

About Silk

Laguna Phuket Kindergarten was set up in 1992 to serve the early learner needs of our community. It has since been recognized as one of the best early learning institutions in Thailand.

School Life

We believe enrichment lessons will enhance the overall learning journey of our students. Children will develop a wider range of skills through lessons in music, sports, computer literacy, and ecology and the environment, as well as engage in activities like storytelling, cooking and food preparation, and yoga and mindfulness.

Admission

SILK opens for enrollment all year, we accept student at the age of 2 to 6 years old from all nationalities. We provide edutainment service with flexible programmes and payment options.

Step-up International Laguna Kindergarten (SILK)

is the extension of Laguna Phuket Kindergarten that provides free education to children of associates and community members in Phuket since 1992.

Kanyarat Nankritchat

Hello, I am Teacher Eyes, a class teacher at the Nursery level.

SILK's teaching and learning activities are full of fun.

In addition to teaching according to the curriculum, our students also have the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom at various locations in Laguna, whether it is a common area or a facility in the hotel. The volunteers from hotels have rotated to teach and do activities with students which enhance more skills and experience than other schools. Everyone can come and join as a volunteer at SILK. You are invited.
